Cookies
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits.
Alongside them, this site also uses the browser's local storage, which works similarly but is never sent to the server with each request.
What this site uses
Technical cookies. The public part of the guide sets no cookies of its own. There is only one, in the administration panel (kronia_admin), which keeps the content manager signed in for 12 hours and which an ordinary visitor never receives.
Local storage (always, to make the guide work):
cookies-consent— your answer to this banner, so we don't ask again.preferred-lang— the language you chose.welcome-seen— whether you have already seen the welcome screen.qr-scanned-points— the stops you have scanned, so your progress isn't lost.auth-tokenandauth-user— only if you created an account, to keep you signed in.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept them). If you press “Accept” in the banner, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, which expire after 2 years and are used to tell visitors apart anonymously. If you press “Reject”, they are not set and no statistics are collected.
How to manage them
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser: the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note that clearing local storage will lose the achievement progress stored on your device, unless you have created an account.
